Our scope of practice based upon Dr. Wittenberg ‘s education and experience allows us to provide many varied services to our patients. Dr. Wittenberg is unique in his training and experience in that he can improve the structure and contours of both the facial Bone tissues as well as the overlying Soft tissues. This understanding of the facial anatomy and form allows a more complete and natural balance to be achieved for you.

Jawline augmentation and jawline contouring

Dr Wittenberg is internationally known for jawline augmentation and facial contouring. He has a unique background and artistic nature to analyze and plan for individualized jawline contouring. He specifically customizes the materials for each patient by creating the implant contours at the time of the surgery so each patient achieves the best contour and balance for their face.

Chin Implants and Chin Augmentation

Chin implants and sliding genioplasty procedures are an effective way to enhance your profile and can provide a relatively simple solution to improve the look of the jawline. Effective definition of the jawline can also be achieved with a surgery to recontour the chin in 3Dimensions so that all aspects of the jawline are improved. Often the key to a good result is not only the prominence of the chin in profile; but also the width of the chin, and the height of the chin. Dr Wittenberg is the only surgeon who customizes the area along side the chin towards the back of the jaw in order to enhance the jawline in a smooth even contour. This avoids the dip alongside chin surgeries often seen elsewhere. The augmentation of the chin can also help to ‘flatten’ the area under the chin and reduce the look of a ‘double chin’ so as to avoid liposuction. However, when chin liposuction is necessary, it can be done simultaneously to achieve the most ideal results.

The overall facial shape can appear too wide and ‘strong’ in a female such that one can reshape the facial bones to yield a softer feminine appearance. This usually involves trimming the jaw angles as well as the side of the jaw and the chin. The chin is often recontoured 3 dimensionally to achieve the soft ‘V’/tapered look.

Invisalign Surgery

The use of Invisalign to straighten teeth without fixed braces is an increasingly common procedure.
